Personal Background
Angelo Zambelli, who is the Italian representative of the Employment Law Alliance, is a partner in the Italiaian offices of Dewey & LeBoeuf. Angelo has always focused his practice on labour and employment law, industrial relations, agency and litigation. He advises numerous industrial and financial entities on the legal aspects of human resources management and employment relationships. Angelo has also advised many businesses on the planning and effective implementation of reorganizations and reductions in the labor force in the areas of Banking, Chemical, Fashion, Finance, Metalworkers, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Publishing,
Angelo is regularly recommended and recognised as a leader in his field by the international legal community. He also is the author of several books on employment and trade union law, and is regularly featured in national newspapers for his articles and commentary in relation to Italian Labour Law.
Throughout his career Angelo has collaborated with top national and international law firms. He was previously a partner at both Toffoletto e Soci and McDermott Will & Emery / Carnelutti Studio Legale Associato. In 2006 Angelo became a founding partner of LABLAW, an Italian employment law boutique. On January 1, 2009, he and his team founded the new Italian Labour Law and Industrial Relations practice and Dewey & LeBoeuf.
Angelo graduated J.D. magna cum laude in 1987 from the University of Milan.
