DETROIT (21 April 2005) - Due to considerable changes to the laws governing how an employer must treat employees, attorneys from the Labor and Employment Law Group of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. have updated the 2005 Employment Law Handbook: Guide for Michigan Employers, published by the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Originally written by Miller Canfield in 1995, the book helps employers of all sizes comply with labor and employment law regulations in Michigan.
The updated handbook has numerous new sections including a guide to conducting your own HR audit and a sample affirmative action plan.
