Personal Background
Bennett Chan, a native of Flushing, New York, received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1981, and his J.D. in 1984 from Rutgers University School of Law. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1985 and the Virgin Islands Bar in 1986. Chan is a member of the Virgin Islands and American Bar Associations, and the Virgin Islands Committee of Bar Examiners. As head of the Labor and Employment Law Department, Chan handles cases on behalf of management involving the defense of both administrative and civil wrongful termination and discrimination claims. He also counsels clients on plant openings, closings and transfers.

Adriane J. Dudley, a practicing attorney for more than twenty years, and in private practice in the Virgin Islands since 1978, established the firm in November 1985. Six years later, Bennett Chan became a partner of the firm, and, in 2000, Edward B. Reynolds, Jr., was named a partner.
