Firm Background

Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie was founded in 1983 as "Udo Udoma & Co," and has since grown to become one of the largest and most dynamic commercial law partnerships in Nigeria.

Our eight partners and 26 associates specialize in working with our Nigerian and non-Nigerian clients to create and implement innovative transactions and to facilitate business in Nigeria and throughout West Africa. The firm has a reputation for seeking to actively develop legal solutions and for providing sophisticated legal advice in our chosen specialisations.

Attorneys Udo Udoma and Belo-Osagie combine the skills, insights and experience derived from their different legal backgrounds to develop transactions that are tailor made for the Nigerian market.  Several of our lawyers have either had previous 'hands on' commercial experience or have served on various governmental and corporate advisory panels, thereby acquiring valuable expertise that enables them to better understand the needs and concerns of our clients.
