Jeff Palamar is a partner in the Winnipeg law firm Taylor McCaffrey LLP. He is listed among the National Post's "Best Lawyers in Canada", and practices primarily in the areas of labour relations, employment law and human rights, normally representing employers. This includes collective bargaining, preparing employment contracts and policy manuals, disciplining/hiring/firing of employees, workplace safety and health disputes, discrimination and harassment claims and unjust dismissal claims. He also receives appointments and serves as an adjudicator under the Canada Labour Code.
Jeff is a long-time past instructor in Human Resource Legislation at the University of Manitoba, and is a frequent speaker at Law Society, Bar Association and various other training and educational seminars.
Jeff is Vice Chair of the Board and serves as legal counsel to Sport Manitoba and is honorary legal counsel to Team Canada Volleyball. He also is the Provincial Chair of KidSport Manitoba and has served as Team Canada's Ombudsperson with the Canadian Paralympic Committee, at the Paralympic Games in Beijing, Vancouver/Whistler, and London.
