Abdul Moniem is head of SASLO's Litigation and Arbitration department and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment, general corporate-commercial, banking, corporate finance, real estate, non-conventional financing systems and contracts drafting, reviewing and negotiating.
His long standing of 35 years in the practice of law commenced as a legal practice in Sudan followed by 8 years of private law practice in Oman, both as a corporate lawyer and litigator. His career as an in-house legal counsel began in 1989 when he served with the Oman Banking Corporation which later merged with the Commercial Bank of Oman. In 1993 he was appointed Head of Legal Department and Secretary to the Board of Directors with the aforementioned bank. Subsequently, Commercial Bank of Oman merged with Bank Muscat in 2001 and until his retirement he was holding the position of Head of Legal at Bank Muscat.
Abdul Moniem Alloub holds an LLB from the University of Alexandria and has been admitted to the Sudanese Bar Association ever since his qualification. Prior to joining SASLO he worked with Bank Muscat as the Head of Legal Department. He speaks both Arabic and English.
