Ziad Najm was admitted at the bar of Beirut in 1991. He graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1990; received his LL.M. in maritime and air transportation law in 1993; and his PHD in law in 1997. He attended university of Aix En Provence (France). Ziad has been a lecturer in law since 1993, and has spoken at conferences of the bar of Beirut. He is the author of many articles and researches, and is a member of the international Bar association (IBA). Ziad specializes in all aspects of marine litigation in particular in cargo claims, charter party disputes, sale and purchase disputes, shipbuilding disputes, general average claims, commercial litigation and international trade.
