She provides sound advice to employers on a variety of employment law topics, such as complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act, layoffs and workforce reorganizations, drafting and enforcing covenants not to compete and confidentiality agreements, protecting trade secrets, conducting internal investigations, compliance with wage and hour laws, negotiating executive agreements, complying with immigration law, defending affirmative action plans, and reducing the risks of litigation.
Ms. Biggs defends employers in employment related litigation and advises on a variety of topics, including drafting and enforcing covenants not to compete and confidentiality agreements, reductions in force, difficult terminations, excutive agreements, employee handbooks and policies, internal investigations, wage and hour laws, drug testing programs, internal dispute resolution systems, and reducing the risks of litigation. She has represented a wide variety of employers in the litigation and mediation of employment disputes, particularly disputes involving claims of discrimination and sexual harassment. Ms. Biggs is a former member of the Employment Law Alliance Board of Directors.
