Sergei Makarchuk is a Belarusian local managing partner of CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten since January 2008. His main areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial, administrative business law, competition law, and labor law. Sergei Makarchuk graduated from the Law Faculty of Yanka Kupala State University in Grodno (Belarus), JD 1999, and the University of Michigan Law School (USA), LLM 2005. Before becoming a partner of CHSH in January 2008 he practiced with Belarusian law firms since 2000 and did an internship with Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman (New York) in 2005.
