Personal Background

Ms. Harper heads the firm’s Employment Law Practice in Columbia. She has represented employers against claims of discrimination, enforceability of covenants not to compete, breach of employment contracts, retaliation, wrongful discharge and other employment-related suits, and counsels employers on ways to avoid litigation. She has practiced extensively in all divisions of the federal court for 20 years. Since 1994, Ms. Harper has been certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a Specialist in Employment and Labor Law.
