Jamie’s practice focuses primarily on labour and employment.
His employment law practice includes advising employers and management on a variety of issues including drafting and enforcing employment contracts, non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, fiduciary obligations, employment standards, human rights, short and long-term disability claims, directors' liability, wrongful dismissal, and labour and employment issues in commercial transactions.
He has appeared before the provincial, superior and appeal courts of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan and has written and presented papers for professional associations in the fields of insurance, construction and law.
