Personal Background

Eva Berlaus-Gulbe is a Partner with SORAINEN Riga office. She also heads the firm's regional Corporate Advisory team and the M&A team of SORAINEN'S Riga office. Since joining SORAINEN in 2000, she has participated as counsel in major cross-border M&A deals in Latvia for both sellers and buyers and on behalf of listed and non-listed companies in various business sectors such as banking, media, utilities, food, construction, property development, energy, consumer finance, environment. She has also delivered a range of presentations on business law at seminars in Latvia and throughout the Baltic States. Eva Berlaus-Gulbe has written articles for various local and international publications on business law and co-authored the SORAINEN book Foreign Investor in the Baltics. She is a Legal500 recommended practitioner.  Her areas of expertise include labor and employment law, competition, energy, company law, public procurement, mergers and acquisitions, and environment.
