Michael Blickman is a member of Ice Miller's Labor and Employment Group. He represents for-profit and not-for-profit employers in all aspects of employment and labor relations matters in both the public and private sectors. His practice also includes representing colleges and universities on a wide range of matters, and representing myriad other organizations before federal, state, and local administrative agencies; general employment and labor relations; human resources policies and handbook development; and employment contracts, including non-compete and trade secrets matters.  His expertise and experience extends into training employees on such issues as anti-harassment training, lawful hiring and termination practices, performance evaluations, workplace violence, and discrimination laws.  Mr. Blickman has lectured extensively and presented seminars on a wide variety of employment law and other subjects. His practice includes training employees in regard to their legal responsibilities, such as anti-harassment training; lawful hiring and termination practices; performance evaluations; workplace violence; and discrimination laws. He has authored several published articles on employment law subjects. His comments and articles have appeared in several publications, such as USA Today, Entrepreneur Magazine, and many daily newspapers across the country. He is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations. He is the past chairman of the Labor and Employment Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.  Mr. Blickman joined Ice Miller in 1980. He is admitted to practice law in the States of Indiana and New York.
