How Our Alliance is Structured

The Employment Law Alliance is an organization of lawyers working for independent law firms throughout the world. It is the one place where every employer – large or small, public or private, single office or multi-jurisdictional – can go for legal help that is focused and practical, comprehensive and thorough. Our mission is the same for every client: to help prevent employment and labor problems from arising at all, and to resolve them positively when they do.

ELA is not a partnership. All members and their firm work independently for their clients, and are solely responsible for the quality of their work. An attorney-client relationship is created with the ELA member who provides legal services to a given client; no attorney-client relationship exists with other members unless and until they are retained to provide legal services.

With our sophisticated local and global knowledge and our worldwide connections, the Employment Law Alliance is able to handle issues ranging from the minute details to the broader, national or international implications of any labor and employment law matter. We are a network of resourceful, independent lawyers, who, with the strength and resources of our collective firms, are allied to maximize our ability to meet the labor and employment law needs of employers. Our expertise is in understanding employers’ rights and responsibilities. Our skill is in representing employers effectively. Our commitment is to helping management make the very best business decisions.
